Love is in the Air

A momentous weekend for two of my best friends has finally arrived. For today, my mates Hel and Neil are getting married.

You’ll forgive me if, to mark the occasion, I post some bits and pieces which remind me of either or both of them, or which are just plain cheesily appropriate.

Starting off with this, and there’s a reason I’ve picked this particular mix. It’s not because I think it’s a particularly fine mix (I don’t). Rather, when I first met one of them, they were working for Almighty Records, a label which made a name for itself by endlessly churning out super-camp, hi-NRG, poppertastic versions of popular hits, specifically aimed at the very gay market.
