Sunday Morning Coming Down

‘Bout time we had some Dwight Yoakam round these parts.

This is from his 2000 album “Tomorrow’s Sounds Today”. Given this is a cover of a Cheap Trick power pop tune from 1977, I’ll assume that title is meant as irony.

    1. I’m just wondering if the country should adopt me as a mascot, all this success has come in the last three years…..

  1. As I pointed out yesterday, Portugal was always our favourite and now it seems the rest of Europe agrees. I may be the least cool kid on the block in terms of my featured song choices but when it comes to Eurovision, totally in tune (no pun intended). Kiev was a no-no but Lisbon here we come!

And, Dwight Yoakam, another excellent name from the country music camp.
