‘Bout time we had some Dwight Yoakam round these parts.
This is from his 2000 album “Tomorrow’s Sounds Today”. Given this is a cover of a Cheap Trick power pop tune from 1977, I’ll assume that title is meant as irony.

More soon.
There’s not enough Dwight Yoakam in these blogs, nice one. By the way, Salvador Sobral won! How?
First the Euros now Eurovision
Is there no stopping Portugal?
I’m just wondering if the country should adopt me as a mascot, all this success has come in the last three years…..
As I pointed out yesterday, Portugal was always our favourite and now it seems the rest of Europe agrees. I may be the least cool kid on the block in terms of my featured song choices but when it comes to Eurovision, totally in tune (no pun intended). Kiev was a no-no but Lisbon here we come!
And, Dwight Yoakam, another excellent name from the country music camp.
