What Are They Marching For?

***With apologies, I appear to have got Friday and Saturday’s posts mixed up, and posted them the wrong way round. This was supposed to have been posted yesterday, and yesterday’s today. No offence or disrespect intended***

On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918, an agreement was signed between the Allies of World War I and Germany, effectively bringing the war to an end.

It’s a timely reminder that peace is possible.

This is one of the most moving songs about war that I know of:
